Ima D. Robinson
LARUE — Ima D. Robinson, age 92, of 474 Third St., LaRue, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at 11:30 a.m. at Marion Manor.
She was born Aug. 28, 1909, in Bowling Green Township to the late Benton E. and Mildred (Thomasson) Denman. On June 5, 1939, she married Harold L. Robinson and he died Sept. 17, 1994.
She is survived by three brothers, William W. (Donna) Denman of Byhalia, Benton (Joan) Denman Jr. of New Bloomington, Joel E. (Sherry) Denman of LaRue; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth (Eston) Williams of LaRue, Mrs. Joan (Neil) Denman of Marion, and Mrs. Phyllis (Charles) Leeth of Marion.
Two sisters, Letha Shirea and Ferol Kale, and one brother, Victor L. Denman, are deceased.
Mrs. Robinson was a home-maker and worked in the cosmetic department of the Gray Drug Store in Wooster for 10 years. She was a life member and a 50-year member of the Mary Lenox Chapter No. 98 O.E.S. She was Worthy Matron in 1949 and District 11 President in 1968. Former member of the LaRue Senior Citizens, former member of the LaRue Garden Club and a member of the Weekenders Campers Club.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 19,2002, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Edward W. Fugate. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002. Eastern Star services will be conducted 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon.
Pall bearers are Robert Beckel, Herman Berry, Merrill Williams, Robert Kale, Charles Leeth and Eston Williams.
