Robert LeRoy Burbaugh
MORRAL — MORRAL — Robert LeRoy Burbaugh, age 60, of 4002 Dry Lane Road, Morral, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at 6:20 a.m. at his residence.
He was born Sept. 24,1941, in Grand Township in the same house in which he died, to Harold Merwyn and Dorothy (Swick) Burbaugh. His father is deceased and his mother survives, living near LaRue.
On Oct. 1, 1962, he married Shirley (Sue) Sharp and she survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Brenda L. (Paul) Stephan of Wadsworth; three sons, Daryl M. Burbaugh, Douglas W. (Barbara) Burbaugh and John C. (Jennifer) Burbaugh all three of LaRue; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Anne (Dan) Schroll of LaRue; four nieces and nephews.
He was a farmer, worked at Tecumseh Products for 25 years, member of the Salem United Church of Christ, Ohio Farmers Union, Pheasants Forever, NRA, Marseilles Sportsman's Club, Tymochtee Grance, Marseilles Volunteer Fire Dept. and was a 4-H advisor for 15 years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Mary Curtis. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the Quality of Life Hospice, Marion, or the Salem United Church of Christ, Kenton, Ohio.
