Services for Ruby Mae McGinniss will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, by Pastor Sam Wolfe. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. She died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation, Marion. She was born Sept. 28, 1914, in Hardin County to Oscar and Theora (Poulson) Messenger. On Sept. 10, 1940, she married Richard McGinniss and he died March 18, 1975. Surviving are two sons, Reuben (Carol) Messenger of Massillon and Dale (Judy) McGinnis of Marion; two daughters, Eula (Henry) Ackerman of Bowling Green and Donna (Floyd) Hicks of Marion; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alberta (Benedict) Seybert. A homemaker, she was a member of the LaRue Senior Citizens. Memorials may be made to the Cornerstone Alliance Church building fund or the Quality of Life Hospice.
