Frederick Dale Buyer
LARUE — Frederick Dale Buyer, 68, of 3980 Broadwell Road, LaRue, passed away Friday, Nov. 29,2002, at 4:05 p.m. at Baldwin Manor Nursing Home in Kenton.
He was born Sept. 3,1934, in Bowling Green Township, Marion County, to the late Oris and Lula M. (Noggle) Buyer.
He married Marylin Myers, and she survives.
Also surviving are one son, Roger G. (Mary) Buyer of Pem-berville; three daughters, Dale Marie (Dennis) Whalen of Garden Grove, Calif., Mary Lucinda (Harmon) Fown of LaRue, and Kelly (Alvin) Cellar of Marion; four grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; four step grandchildren; one stepgreat-grand-child; one brother, Charles James Buyer of McAllen, Texas; and one sister, Sue (James) Laird of Phoenix, Ariz. One brother, John William Buyer, is deceased.
Mr. Buyer was retired from Elgin Local Schools where he worked as the bus mechanic. He had worked as a diesel mechanic for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. He also did work for the Bowling Green Township trustees. He was a member of AARP and liked to hunt, do woodworking and chop wood.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Rose Ann Wilson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before service time.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the LaRue High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund or the American Cancer Society.
