Earl Dalton English
MARION — Earl Dalton English, age 80, of 6605 Marion Agosta Road, Marion, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at 8:20 a.m. at Marion Manor. He was born Feb. 26,1923, in Ashtabula, to the late Samuel and Rena (Latimer) English. On Aug. 10,1949, he married Marcella D. Cobb and she survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Susanne E. Satter-field of Marion, Nancy L. English of Anaheim, Calif., and Erin K. (Kim) Coffee of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert L. English of Ashtabula. One brother, Harold English, and one sister, Beatrice Rau, are deceased. Mr. English at one time worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He and his wife managed mobile home parks and apartment communities for more than 30 years. They managed Indian Trail in New Bloomington for about four and a half years. He also was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. All services are private and there will be no calling hours. The Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue is in charge of arrangements.
