LARUE — Robert Joseph Hougendobler Jr., age 67, of 8092 Guthery Road, LaRue, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at 10:55 p.m. at Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton. He was born Dec. 10,1935, in Forest, to Robert J. and Deborah (Wood) Hougendobler Sr. and they survive, living in LaRue. He is also survived by one sister, Betty Jo (William) McEI-roy of New Bloomington; three nieces, Natalie (Rob) Askew of Richwood, Michele McElroy of Dublin and Rhonda McElroy of Dickson, Tenn.; and one nephew, Jeffrey (Krista) McElroy of Pasco, Wash.; four great nephews and one great niece. He was a member of the LaRue United Methodist church and the LaRue Lodge 463 F & AM. He was employed as a truck driver for Waste Management. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 27, 2003, at 6 p.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Edward Fugate. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 3:45 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The LaRue Lodge will conduct Masonic services at 3:45 p.m. also on Sunday. Those who wish may make contributions to either the LaRue United Methodist Church or the Hardin County Hospice. This is archival information that was taken from (perhaps old) paper documents.
