LARUE — Leila M. Adams., age 92, formerly of LaRue, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at 8:01 p.m. at Community Healthcare Center in Marion. She was born March 23, 1911, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to the late Charles Leo and Elva Lovett (Bearner) Harvey. On May 4,1935, she married William Adams and he died July 27,1969. She is survived by one sister, Elva Miller of Cheyenne, Wyo., and special friends, Helen and John Borland of Richwood. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Blair Harvey, Kenneth Harvey and Herman Harvey; five sisters, Hulda Greetham, Fern Lawrence, Pearl Bucher, Norma Hodge, and Mearl Johnson. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Church of God, the Ladies Aid at the church, and the Marion Lenox Chapter No. 98 O.E.S. of LaRue. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Duane (Sonny) Putt. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue one hour before service time on Friday. Those who wish may make contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
