NEW BLOOMINGTON — Ethel Marie Wright, age 70, of 7030 Agosta LaRue Road, New Bloomington, died Sunday, May 25, 2003, at 4 a.m. at her residence. She was born Aug. 13, 1932, in Esco, Ky., to the late Rural McKinley and Matilda (Bartley) Martin. On Feb. 21,1948, she married James D. Wright and he died March 17,1970. She is survived by four sons, Nicky Wright of New Blooming-ton, Clement (Crista) Wright of Prospect, Bart Wright of New Bloomington and Bobby (Amy) Page of Green Camp; four daughters, Anita Wright of Tiffin, Waunlu (Bob) Nield of Gallatin, Tenn., Sonna (Calvin) McPheron of Dola and Natuta (Frank) Castle of Forest; 18 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren; one brother, William (Eloise) Martin of Clearwater, Fla. and one sister, Joyce (Frank) Schofield of Marion. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Dairletta Wright and Vicky Arthur, four brothers, Raymond Martin, Diamond Martin, Willard Martin and Noah Lee Bartley. Mrs. Wright was a homemak-er and had worked at the Sycon Corp. as an assembler. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be Pastor Gary L. Brugger. Burial in the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Those who wish may make contributions to Children's Hospital in Columbus in care of the funeral home.
