Kory Worden "Keigs" Keigley
Kory Worden "Keigs" Keigley, 24, of Richwood died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003,
as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He attended North Union Schools and had worked for the last three years
for Billiard Plus in Columbus. He was an avid sports fan and talented
athlete and enjoyed the time he spent with his friends as a member of
the Brewskies softball team. He will be missed by many friends.
He was born April 22, 1979, in Marion County and was predeceased by
grandparents, George and Margaret Keigley, Clarence E. McMahon and Henry
V. McCalla and a loving stepfather, David Lee Shirk.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Ronald Lee and Tammy
Keigley of Richwood; mother and stepfather of Richwood, Debra Jane
McMahon Brown and Donnie Brown of Richwood; five half-brothers, Jason,
Dustin and Cody Keigley and Tyler and Gabe Shirk; grandmothers, Marilyn
McCalla of Richwood and Linda McMahon of Prospect; step-grandparents,
Donald and Dorothy Brown of Marion, Thomas and Bertha Shirk of Prospect
and Norma Brake of Caledonia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Richwood Church
of Christ. The Rev. Scot Gorsuch will officiate and burial will be at
the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the
Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood.
