Mary Esther Street Sunday, 91, of Richwood died / Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at Willowbrook Christian Nursing Center in Delaware.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Rich-wood First United Methodist Church and Rich-wood VFW Post 870 Auxiliary. She was a 60-year member of the former Mount Carmel Chapter of OES, now Mary Chapter, and past president of the Carpe Diem Club. She had sold real estate in the area.
She was born June 7, 1912, in Richwood to the late Bruce Adair and Eva Howison Street. She married Harry B. Sunday June 19, 1932, in Richwood and he died March 2, 2000.
She is survived by a brother-in-law, Rex (Marcella) Sunday of Tipp City; two nieces and two nephews; and a special family friend, Phyllis Mead of Richwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where an Eastern Star service will be held at 2:45 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the church at 18 S. Fulton St., Richwood, Ohio 43344, or the Richwood Civic Center, 2325 Grove Street, Richwood.
