Lila Romaine Oldham
LARUE — Lila Romaine Oldham, age 82, of 4054 Ground Hog Road, LaRue, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at 11:20 a.m. at her residence.
She was born Nov. 9,1921, in Eden Township, Wyandot County, to the late Laurel and Cuba Mae (Tschanen) Harriman.
On March 9, 1952, at the Meeker United Methodist Church, she married James Russell Oldham and he died March 20,1993.
She is survived by three sons, Lynn L. (Jan) Oldham of Richwood, Clairen R. (Terri) Oldham of LaRue and Kevin E. (Rebecca) . Oldham of New Bloomington; three daughters, Elaine S. (Brad) Smith of Marion, Marna M. (Butch) Winslow and Lisa R. Schwaderer, both of LaRue; 14 grandchildren and one sister, Carol M. (John) James of Cardington. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Muriel D. Hawk and Vari-an E. McCullough and one brother, Dale L. Harriman.
Mrs. Oldham taught school for 30 years at the Elgin Local Schools, graduated from Bowling Green State University, member of the Retired Teacher Association, the Meeker United Methodist Church, Tymochtee Grange and the Happy Tyme Club.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Donald J. Riker. Burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery in : Upper Sandusky. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 4-8 p.m. on Friday.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Meeker United Methodist Church.
