Nancy Avenius-Ransome, 48, of Delaware, died unexpectedly o Saturday (March 13, 2004) at her home.
She was bom Feb. 21, 1956 in Queens, N.Y., to David J. and Paula (Reeley) Avenius. She was a graduate of the Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass., and enjoyed making baskets, doing beadwork and taking care of her precious bulldogs. She is survived by her husband, Charles Ransome, whom she married Oct. 1, 2003; and her mother, of Delaware. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, 201 S. Franklin St., Richwood, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Revs. Bryan Lauzau and Frank Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Essex United Methodist Church, 32697 Ohio 37, Richwood, OH 43344.
