LARUE — Katheryn Maxine Evans, age 82, of LaRue, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at 1:50 p.m. at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
She was born March 12,1922, in Delaware, to the late Charles and Blanche (Kent) Andrews. On April 27, 1943, she married Marion I. (Mike) Evans and he died Aug. 29,1987. She is survived by one son, Richard M. (Donna) Evans of LaRue; two daughters, Rebecca (Dave) Fuhrer of Toledo and Diane Evans of LaRue; four grandchildren, Mike and Chris Fuhrer and Tiffany and Drew Evans; four great-grandchildren, Zach, Tyler, Chelsea and Tessa Fuhrer; two sisters, June Cramer of Richwood and Doris Youngblood of Flag Pond, Tenn. She was preceded in death by a daughter,. Mary Jane Evans, a grandson, Matthew Fuhrer, a brother, William Andrew and a sister, Gladys Courter. Mrs. Evans attended the LaRue United Methodist Church, was co-owner of Evans Farm Equipment of LaRue, which served the area for 30 years. She was a member of the 10-23 Radio Club and was always active in the drives for the Heart Fund. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Edward W. Fugate. Burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Those who wish may make contributions to the American Heart Association.
