Susan Louise Chapman Brooks, 55, of Tucson, Ariz., died Thursday, Nov. 18,2004.
She was of the Baptist faith and taught Sunday School. She was a good loving person and her family was very important to her. She was born Aug. 20, 1949, in Kenton to Merle Wayne and Virginia Louise Jordan Chapman and was predeceased by her father and a brother, Michael Lee Chapman. She is survived by her mother of Logan; her husband, Cliff Brooks of Tucson; two sons, James Michael (Julee) Thornton of Tucson and Jeffrey Lee Welch of Marion; two daughters, Hope (Aaron) Tipton of Vail, Colo., and Stephanie Crosby, of Tucson; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Fred Cheney will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
