Martha Lenora Littell, 87, of Richwood died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at
Heartland of Marysville. She was a retired teacher and tutor, having taught in numerous area school districts. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was born July 19, 1916, in Jackson Township to the late Nathan Marion and Eva Florence Lane Temple and was predeceased by two sons, Larry and Lanny; two sisters, Blanch Marsh and Mary Fields; and a brother, Joe Temple. She married Lester Howard Littell in 1937 and he died in 1972. She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Littell of Fort Myers, Fla., and Dianne (Karl) Mahr of Torrance, Calif.; a son, David (Michele) Littell of Grand Rapids, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church in Richwood. The Rev. Tim Peria will officiate and burial will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
