Ann R. Daugherty
Ann R. Daugherty, 68, of Richwood died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at
Memorial Hospital of Union County after a 15-month illness.
She was a mammographer at the Smith Clinic in Delaware and Marion. She
had been a very active member of the Richwood First United Methodist
Church for 40 years.
She was born July 10, 1936, in Kenton to the late George Lowell and
Georgia Eileen Evans Robinson and was predeceased by a son, Jon Lowell
Daugherty.
She is survived by her husband, William Daugherty whom she married June
3, 1956; two daughters, Paula (Larry) Moore of Richwood and Debi (Jerry)
Allison of Land O' Lakes, Fla.; a son, Scot Daugherty of Kenton; a
daughter-in-law, Donna (Kevin) Stegner of Delaware; nine grandchildren,
Matt, Mike and Mark Moore, James and Margret Seymore, Caroline Allison,
Samantha Steinmetz, Caine Daugherty and Adam Daugherty Stegner; two
step-grandchildren, Megan and Matt Stegner; a sister, Jane (Gary) Kuckel
of Estero, Fla., and a brother, Joseph (Sharon) Robinson of Pinehurst,
N.C.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Richwood First
United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Rhea officiating. Friends
may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care
Hospice, 113 S. Main St., Marysville, or the Susan G. Koman Breast
Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265-0309, or
www.koman.org.
Arrangements are being handled by the Ballinger Funeral Home in
