Tucker Philip Smith, 75, of North Richland Hills, Texas, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 in Bedford, Texas.
Tucker was born June 29, 1929 in Columbus, OH to the late Tucker and Florence Grace Smith. He was a member of Richwood First United Methodist Church and Mt. Carmel #303 F&AM. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was retired as a purchasing agent for BF Goodrich. He is survived by his wife, Janet, son, Greg (Norma) of Franklin, NC, Fred (Annette) of Richwood, OH, David of Folcroft, PA daughter Julie (Frank) D'Ascendis of Neshanic Station, NJ, 1 sister, Midge Reed, Jacksonville, NC. 4 grandchildren. 2 sisters preceded him in death. Masonic and Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2005 in the Ballinger Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with calling hours 1 hour prior to the services. Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and military honors will be conducted by the Richwood VFW at Claibourne Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Richwood First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. Condolences to the family may be sent online at www.ballingerfuneralhome.com.
