Randall James Chapman
Flag Randall James Chapman, 57, of Richwood, died early Monday morning, June
27, 2005, at his home, with his wife and loving family and friends by
his side.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, stationed in Butte,
Mont., for two years and Madrid, Spain, for two years.
He was a truck driver for five years.
He was born July 18, 1947, in Marion, to Dorothea Faye Hypes Chapman and
Dale C. Chapman. He was predeceased by his mother, and is survived by
his father and stepmother, Louise Chapman of Logan.
He also was preceded in death by a half-brother, Michael Lee Chapman; a
half-sister, Susan Louise Brooks; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
On Nov. 19, 1998, he married Marilyn K. Horn in Tucson, Ariz., and she
survives. Also surviving are his children, Carrie Lynn Chapman of
Richwood, Christin Chapman of North Hollywood, Calif., and Chad (Cindy)
Chapman of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Kevin (Shauna) Chapman of
Richwood, and Steve (Yayon) Chapman of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Melodi
(Dale) Wiser of Ostrander; a grandson, Reese Carter; special friends,
Allen and Tabitha Couch of Middleburg; several nieces and nephews; a
great-niece and great-nephew; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
In keeping with Mr. Chapman's wishes to make things as simple as
possible, there will be no services after cremation.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Hardin County Hospice, 15 N.
