Robert David Heller
LARUE — Robert David Heller, age 78, of 3325 Richwood-LaRue Road, LaRue, did Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at 1:53 a.m. at O.S.U. Hospital East, in Columbus.
He was bom Aug. 31,1926, in St. Paris, to the late Homer H. and Caroline (Utz) Heller.
On April 29,1947, he married JoAnn Hoffman and she survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Pamela "P.J." (Kreig) Hitz of Waldo, Nancy (Ron) Robbins of Delaware, Vicki (Keith) Landry of Aurora, Colo., and Cathi Boles of Castle Rock, Colo.; three sons, Edgar H. (Linda) Heller of Fort Wayne, Ind., David W. "Foo" Heller, and Mark L. (Jean) Heller, both of LaRue; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Tom Bowersock of Grandville. One sister, Edna Bowersock, is deceased.
Mr. Heller was a Bowling Green Township farmer most of his life, he also worked at Quaker Oats from 1958 and retired from there in 1976, he also was a milk hauler for The Nestle Co. He was a Bowling Green Township trustee for 20 years, member of the U.F.O., Knights of Pythias of Essex and Marion County Farm Bureau, and the LaRue United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8,2005, at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Edward W. Fugate. Burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 7,2005, at the funeral home.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the LaRue United Methodist Church or to the Heart Surgery Wing at Marion General Hospital.
