Jay S. Marvin, 63, of Galion, formerly of Richwood, died unexpectedly
Saturday Dec. 16, 2006. He was a roofer, having worked for Pete Miller Roofing in Marion. He was born Oct. 6, 1943, in Richwood, to the late Jay S. and Margaret Sedgwick Marvin. He was married April 23, 1973, to the former Kathleen K Myers, and she died March 9, 1998. He also was predeceased by a sister, Patsy Hoffman. Surviving are his children, Matt Marvin of Marion, and Tracy Marvin of Marysville; stepchildren, Doug Bracy of Raymond, Greg (Judy) Bracy and Mike Bracy of Galion, Lynn (Jeff) Boarman of Clarksville, Tenn., and Karen (Don) Ayers of Marion; a sister, Yvonne (Sam) Chapman of Richwood; and numerous grandchildren. Graveside memorial services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Claibourne Cemetery, with the Rev. Bryan Lauzau officiating, There will be no calling hours.
