Michael J. Bernhard 68,passed away Thursday May 11, 2006 at his home in Sebring, Florida, he was born February 16, 1938 in Toledo to the late Jess and Frances Bernhard
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 yrs. Doloris (Maxwell) Bernhard Daughter: Monica (Tim) Harker of Vandalia, Ohio, sons: Martin (Chrissy) Bernhard of Prospect and Matthew Bernhard of Marion 10 Grandchildren: Kami Bernhard, Matthew (Sara) Taylor, Elizabeth Bernhard, Michael (Sarah) Bernhard III, Elleair Bernhard, Sinnitta Bernhard, Ian Harker, Matthew Berhard Jr., Jessica Bernhard and Marina Bernhard 2 Great Grandchildren: Kelson McCluskey and Josie Reisinger 2 sisters: Bonnie Mayes of Delaware and Pat (Sandy) Bernhard of Hilliard Special lifelong friend Russ Daniels of South Carolina Predeceased by infant son: Michael J. Bernhard Jr., infant daughter: Melinda Bernhard and Brother: Cliff Bernhard Formally of Prospect, Mike was the founder and President of Mike's Roofing Inc. for 40 yrs. He retired in 2000, turning the business over to his son Martin Bernhard who worked side by side with him for over 25 yrs. He was a member of countless organizations and supported many youth programs throughout his career. Mike loved his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and boating, he learned to fish from his mother in Louisiana. He love fishing for perch & walleye of Lake Erie, Saltwater Fishing in Islamorada, Florida and Bass Fishing in many different states Mike will be dearly missed by all who knew him Graveside Memorial Services will be held Saturday May 20, 2006 at the Maskill Cemetery (near Claibourne in Union County) at 2:00 pm Memorial Donations May be made to the American Cancer Society at 1105 Mt.
