Beverly Kaye Grose
Beverly Kaye Grose, 63, of Richwood died Friday morning, May 5, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Union County after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born May 19,1942, in Richwood to the late Dwight and Gladys (Ellenwood) Marine.
She cherished the closeness of her family and time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed collecting antique banks and other various antiques.
She was a 1960 graduate of Richwood High School and was a dedicated employee of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association office in Richwood for more than 29 years. She devoted countless hours, which contributed to the success of the annual Quarter Horse Congress. She treasured the enduring friendships of her coworkers over many years.
She married her loving husband Robert Donald Grose Sr. on April 20, 1963, in York Center and he survives. Also surviving are: her two sons, Robert D. (Kathy) Grose II of Marysville and Kevin Grose of Richwood; four grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyle, Tiffany and MacKenzie Grose, all of Richwood; two sisters, Joyce McGinnis of Marion and Phyllis Mullins of Columbus; a brother, Bob Marine of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood, where friends may call Monday from 4-8 p.m. The Revs. Danny Grose and Jerry McQueen will officiate.
Burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 1105 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH., 43302.
