Zonna Long Inskeep
Zonna Long Inskeep, 92. of Richwood, died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 1, 2006, after a brief illness.
An Ohio farm woman all her life, she graduated from both Broadway and Raymond high schools. During her youth, she received the Healthy Woman of Union County Award.
She was a dedicated wife and mother, as well as an enthusiastic gardener, quilter and card player. She also was a member of the Richwood Civic Center and a lifetime member of the Ohio Western Horseshow Association. She accompanied her husband and two sons lo many horse shows and sales.
She was born Feb. 28, 1913, in Broadway, to the late George and Maude Rossa Long. Her marriage to her husband, Fred, whom she married Aug. 22, 1934, in West Virginia, lasted more than 50 years until his death on Dec. 29, 1993. She also was predeceased by three brothers, Sanford. Dallas and Earl Long, and a sister, Lizzie Wyeth.
Surviving are her sons, Gary L. (Fran) Inskeep of Richwood, and Dale K. (Bernadette) Inskeep of Radnor, and granddaughters Rachael Marguerite. Sarah Marie and Mary Elizabeth Inskeep.
Calling hours will be today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fred Cheney officiating. Bur-al will be in Claibourne Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hoffman,Todd Powers, Joe Wiley, Roger Pitchford, Chuck Sheets and Tom Guy.
Memorial donations may be made to the Richwood Civic Center,
35 Grove St., Richwood, Ohio 43344.
