MARION — Ruby Ruth Oehler, age 72, formerly of LaRue, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at 7:17 a.m. at Community Healthcare Center in Marion.
She was born Aug. 16,1934 in Prospect Township, Marion County, to the late Charles G. and Louise K. (Kurz) Oehler. She is survived by one sis-ter, Erma (Leo) Miller of LaRue; two brothers, Paul T. (Becky) Oehler of Marion and W. Walter (Linda) Oehler of Waldo; and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Samuel H. Oehler and Charles W. Oehler; three sisters, Pauline E. Jones, Martha Marie Oehler and Geneva Ann Guinther are deceased. Ruby was retired from Whirlpool Corp. also had worked at Haberman's grocery in New Bloomington and. Marion Frozen Foods. Graduated from LaRue High School in 1953. She loved children and also her dog Maggie. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 5,2007, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Renee Ahern. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday. Those who wish may make contributions to the Quality of Life Hospice at Marion General Hospital.
