MARION — Fern Cleo Prettyman, age 103, of Irvin Shoots Road, died Friday, April 6, 2007, at 11:20 p.m. at
Marion General Hospital. She was born Dec. 21,1903, in Grand Township, Marion County, to the late John Henry and Oza Ethel (Hickman) Roszman. On July 3, 1926, she married Henry LeRoy Prettyman and he died Aug. 24,1977. She is survived by one son, Joe H. (Janet) Prettyman of Grand Township; one daughter, Winona R. (Charles) Fogle of Big Island; seven grandchildren, Diane (Tom) Fetter, Kathleen (Rick) Fremont, Tim (Penny) Fogle, Rick Fogle, Kim (Steve) Gerfen, Cy (Julie) Prettyman and Jennifer (Jeff) Skoczen; 10 great-grandchildren, Tabitha (Ryan) Cook, Trevor (Candy) Fremont, Shelby (Kyle) Brammel, Tim Fogle Jr., Ryan Fogle, Lauren Prettyman, Tyler Prettyman, Clay Gerfen, Nole Gerfen and Stosh Skoczen; five great-great-grandchildren, Taylor Fremont, David Fremont, Noah Cook, Renee Fremont, Hannah Cook; two brothers, Dwight Roszman of Grand Township and Marvin Roszman of Pauley's Island, S.C.; and one sister, Nova Mae Wynkoop of Canal Winchester. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Christopher Fremont and Tor-rey Fetter; three brothers, Ralph, Paul and Foster Roszman; and two sisters, Marguerite Roszman and Evelyn Hudhall. Mrs. Prettyman was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening. Member of the Meeker United Methodist Church. Farm Bureau, Meeker Senior Citizens, and the former Montgomery Grange. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Meeker United Methodist Church. Minister will be Pastor Christopher W. Wiseman. Burial in the Frame Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday.
