Mary Lou Harrison
Mary Lou Harrison, 76, of Richwood, died Friday, March 2,
2007,  at the Ohio State University East Hospital  following a
six-month illness.
She was an active member of Essex United Methodist Church
where  she was a church pianist for many years. As a young girl
growing up in Richwood, she was  a soloist at Claibourne
Methodist Church, always accompanied by her mother, Laura
Matlack.

young  woman, she was a maternity aide at the White Cross Hos-
pital in Columbus, also working at Marion Hospital.
After marriage, she was a hard-working farm  wife, tolling
many hours on the family farm with her husband Robert, raising
four girls and being  an excellent cook. Following  her mother's
example, she  accompanied her daughters as they sang and
played at many church, school and social occasions.
She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family who
loved her.
She was born Aug. 19, 1930, in Marion, to the late Everett and
Laura Matlack.
Surviving are her devoted husband of 56 years, Robert Harri-
son, whom  she married Aug. 3, 1950, at Claibourne Methodist
Church; four daughters, Brenda Harrison of Richwood,  Beth
(Scott) Keith of Waynesville,  Mo., Marty  Harrison of Powell,
and Barbara Harrison (Patrick Gordon) of Athens; three grand-
children, Drew Keith of Seoul,  Korea, Hannah Keith of Kansas
City, Mo.,  and Daniel  Wasserman of Athens; one  brother,
Everett (Marcella) Matlack of Columbus; and many nieces and
nephews.
Calling hours will be today from 2 to 4 and  6  to 8 p.m. at
Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood,  where funeral  services
will be held Tuesday at  10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Bryan Lauzau
officiating. Burial will be at Radnor Cemetery.
