Carla Jo Slone
LARUE — Carla Jo Slone, age 31, of the Marseilles area LaRue, died suddenly at 12:20 a.m. Thursday morning, March 1, 2007.
She was born July 20, 1975, in Marion to David and JoAnn Johnston Boggs. Her father is deceased and her mother-now, JoAnn Clinger, survives.
Surviving besides her mother are her husband, Walter D. Slone; her son, Kenneth Allen Slone at home; stepfather Ronald Clinger of LaRue; maternal grandmother; Ida Johnston of Marion; stepmother Virginia Boggs of Florida; mother- and father-in-law, Kenneth and Delores Ann Slone of Marion; brother Brian (Darcie) Boggs of Upper Sandusky; sister Donna Darnell of Upper Sandusky; half-brothers Terry Boggs of Delaware and Tim Boggs of Marysville; stepbrothers Ron (Lynn) Clinger of Nashville, Tenn., Carl (Bonnie) Clinger of Jacksonville,
N.C., and Dan (Darlene Clinger of San Diego, Calif.; and stepsisters Lynn (Randy) Howerton Noel, Mo., and Lisa Stutz of Upper Sandusky. One stepsister, Patty Ginger, is deceased.
Carla worked in payroll at Honda, was a member of the Marseilles United Methodist Church, graduated from Upper Sandusky High School, attended Bradford College in Columbus and was active in 4-H, FFA and the Marion Tops.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2007, at the Marseilles United Methodist Church. Minister will be the Rev. Tim Benjamin. Burial in the Fehl Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue.
