Boyd Richard Rinehart
Flag LARUE — Boyd Richard Rinehart, age 72, of LaRue, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab.
He was bom Jan. 16,1935, in Chillicothe, to the late Howard and Clelia Marie (Quickel) Rinehart.
On Nov. 11, 1966, he married Doris Eileen Buyer, and she survives.
Also surviving is one son, Anthony L. (Lori) Sigrist of Richwood; grandchildren Susan, Stacy, Stephanie, Shannon and David, all Sigrist; one brother, Karl (Diane) Rinehart of Marion; two sisters, Carolyn (Michael) Watson of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and Lois (John) Keil of Florida.
Mr. Rinehart was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Member of the LaRue United Methodist Church, graduated from Wharton High School, attended Ohio State University, Toledo University, worked in electrical engineering at Marion Power Shovel, was an electrical trade instructor at Tri-Rivers, electrical and automotive instructor at MCI, and had been service manager at Montgomery Wards in Marion.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 23,2007, at 2 p.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Edward W. Fugate. Burial in the Price Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue one hour before service time from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Marion Area Veterans Council.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Hardin County Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Rinehart, Ben Graff, Dan Knickel, Joe West, Greg Buyer and John Buyer.
