MARION - Robert Owen Watkins, age 82, of 511 Shady-side Circle, Marion, formerly of LaRue, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at Marion General Hospital.
He was born Aug. 4,1920, in Urbana to the late Samuel O. and Nellie (Williamson) Watkins.
On Aug. 9, 1941, he married Gladys M. Rosebrough and she survives.

He was born May 30, 1933 in Delaware County to the late Wattie Lee and Roxie Vianna (Evans) Welsh, he was also predeceased on March 28, 2007 by his wife Patricia Ann (Battles) whom he married May 24, 1969.
