| Bettylou McFarlan as adopted by her late grandparents William and Zetta (Giles) Wiener. She was also preceded in death by her biological mother, Genevieve Kirtland, as well as sisters Barbara Jean and Patty Ann.
On June 4, 1950, she married Robert O. McFarlan at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion, they were married 48 years until his death on April 17, 1999.

LARUE — Harry W. ROBERTs, age 78, of 371 N. Front St., LaRue, died Thursday Aug. 7, 2003, at 12:20 p.m. at Marion General Hospital in Marion.
He was born Nov. 14, 1924, in Center Rutland, Vt, to the late Harry Lee and Rose (Legacy) ROBERTs. On July 9,1960, he married M. Lillian Outland and she survives.
