On June 23, 1945 he married the former Ruth H. Fox and she survives.

| Ruth H. Lindsay Ruth H. Lindsay, age 87 of formerly of Richwood, died Saturday afternoon, July 30, 2011 at her residence at the Sterling House in Marion. She was born November 4, 1923 in Richwood to the late Homer and Ethel (Hodge) Fox.
On June 23, 1945 she married Arch L. Lindsay and he died August 21, 2009. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Fox and one sister, Audrey Mayte.
