John M. Mayberry, 80, of Claibourne, died Monday, July 13, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Marysville. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a retired construction worker. He was a member of Advent Christian Church in Claibourne and enjoyed driving the countryside, camping and farming. On June 9, 1974 at the Claibourne UMC, he married Melisa (Oberdier) and she survives, also surviving are two sisters: Rose (Leo) Speicher and Pamela Webb both of Richwood.
