John E. Patton, 65, of rural West Mansfield died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at the Marion General Hospital. He was a graduate of the Alderson and Broadus College in Phillipi, W.Va.,and was a veteran of the U .S. Navy. A retired physicians assistant, he enjoyed fishing and spending time at Indian Lake, playing golf on the computer, and collecting things such as books, stamps, toys, trains and much more.
