RICHWOOD — Melba Mae Case, 88, formerly 291 Grove St., died about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday May 18, 1988 in Delaware Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Sept. 17, 1899, in Orient to John W. and Alice Turner Braskett.
Her marriages were in 1918 to Francis Holcombe and in 1938 to Cecil B. Case, who died in 1944.
The homemaker was a former member of Blue Star Mothers in Magnetic Springs.

She was bom Feb. 25, 1936 in Columbus, daughter of the late Cecil B. and Melba Mae (Braskett) Case. She was first married to William Carter, who died in 1961. She has since married Walter C. Hamilton, who survives.

Jo retired from Siemans in 1995 as a big press operator for over 20 years. She was also a school bus driver in the early seventies and was the first to implement a safety program in North Union in case of any emergencies on buses. Jo had a patriotic heart and was always supportive of the veterans.

| Kathryn Ann Hook club, but since the demise of the club, she played with a group of friends regularly at her home. She was a most gracious hostess. The ladies took turns bringing the munchies, but Katie always had something in reserve in case someone forgot. A friend had said that she was equally as gracious when losing as when winning.
