He was born June 7, 1962 in Marysville to Jacob and Ruth (Witt) Allison, his mom survives in Richwood.
Steve was a 1980 graduate of the North Union High School. He had worked at Jefferson Industries in West Jefferson for over 26 yrs.

The Richwood native was bom June 16,1910, a daughter of John and Allison McCurdy Cheney. She was a member of Richwood First United Methodist Church and its Women's Society.
Her first husband. Dr. John Gallager, died Dec. 21,1971 in St. Joseph, Mich. She then married Kenneth Davis, and he survives.
