He was born Sept. 6,1901, in Delaware County to the late Elmer and Amy
Grindell Parish. He married Cleo C. Cheney on Oct. 19,1935, in Indianapolis,
Ind and she died Oct. 29, 1987. He was also predeceased by a daughter.
He is survived by two sons, Harold Parish of Columbus and Gene Parish of
Concord, Mass.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maybelle

| Ruth I. Patton Ruth I. Patton, age 87 of Byhalia, died peacefully, Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Gables at Green Pastures. She was born December 7, 1925 in Kentucky to the late Arthur and Jettie (Holbrook) Webb.

James L. Pfeiffer, 32, Fort Myers, Fla., died unexpectedly Sept. 30, 1987 there at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
He was the son of James M. and Sharon Giles Pfeiffer, who live near Richwood.
Also surviving are his grandmothers, Mrs. Hazel Pfeiffer and Mrs. Gladys Giles; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Kathy) Brown, Lorain, Mrs. Robert (Karen) Morales, Hatboro, Pa., Mrs. Randy (Sherry) Thacker, Green Camp, and Susie Pfeiffer, Richwood.

She died at East Lawn Manor in Marion at 3:20 a.m. today. She had been ill six months.
She was born Dec. 19,1887, in -Union County to Michael and Anna (Scharf) Pfeiffer. She never married.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Church in LaRue.
Surviving are a brother, Louis of Marion. Three brothers and a sister are deceased.

she worked as a food service supervisor.
She was past president and deeply involved with Richwood VFW Post No.
870 Women's Auxiliary. She was one of the founding members of the
Richwood Matinee Club, which had to do with one of her and her family's
passions, horses. She enjoyed going to harness races and spending time
