RICHWOOD — Florine Joanna Schmelzer, 62, 240 S. Franklin. St., died 2:15 a.m. Saturday Dec. 19, 1987 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born April 6,1925, in Columbus. Her parents were Loren C. and Georgia Hildibrand Mathys.
She married Robert W. Schmelzer, who survives, on Aug. 12,1941.

Lowell M. Schmidt, 68, 1348 LaRue-Marseilles Road, died Wednesday evening Aug. 26, 1987 in Marion General Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Big Island Township, Marion County, Sept. 5, 1918, a son of the late Daniel W. and Isabelle Mon- tgomery Schmidt.
He was retired from Marion Power-Shovel Co. after 39 years of employment, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

| Daniel L. Schultz died Saturday evening Nov 29, 1991 in MedCenter Hospital, Marion. He had been ill 11 weeks.
Mr. Schultz was bora Nov. 8,1968, in Marion to Glenn W. and Judy K. Bell Schultz, both of whom survive in Rich-wood.
Mr. Schultz, a 1987 Elgin High School graduate and 1991 Malone College graduate, was a student at Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, Ky. He was a member of Fulton Creek Friends Church.

| Thelma Marie Sewell e Thelma was an active member of the Union Baptist Church until declining health prevented her from going.
She spent her spare time making “grandma” quilts, doll clothes and embroidering pillowcases for her family. In 1987 she reached her goal of making a quilt for every member of her family for Christmas. Her children and grandchildren still treasure these quilts today. Time with her grandchildren was very important to Thelma.
