![]() ![]() She was born December 19, 1967 in Delaware to Gary R. and Connie (Cline) Herd, her mom survives in Magnetic Springs. She was a longtime, active member of the Magnetic Springs United Methodist Church. Stephanie was a 1986 graduate of North Union High School, where she excelled in Art and Softball. She was very proud of her softball pitching accomplishments and her team finishing the season as State Runner up. She went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the Columbus College of Art & Design, while there she had received the Battelle Scholarship. Stephanie was a graphic designer, owning and operating Romo Design. She was very honored when her Tulip design was used for many years by the Columbus Home and Garden Show. But truly, her most important role in life was that of wife and mom. She often said she was so thankful for her ability to stay at home and be a mom. Stephanie was also an animal lover who loved taking care of all of her pets. Surviving is her devoted husband, Dave Romo, they were married September 11, 1993 in Dublin. Also surviving are their daughters, Cameron and Hayley Romo. Her sister, Stacey (Jeff) Britton of Richwood Neice and nephew, Olivia (Garrett) LeMaster and their children, Jack & Rory and Jordan (Presleigh) Britton and their children, Jentry & Jetsen Mother-in-law, Pat (Paul) Wilson of Hubbard Brothers-in-law, John Romo of Cortland, Paul (Teresa) Wilson of Poland and Gordon Frank of Hubbard. she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Terri Frank. Funeral services celebrating Stephanie’s life will be held Tuesday June 18, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Magnetic Springs United Methodist Church. Pastor Judy Cramer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.
