Darlene Krawczyk


Darlene Krawczyk, 86 of Richwood, died peacefully Friday December 22, 2023 at her home.

She was born September 29, 1937 in Marion to the late William and Fonniel (Secord) Keefer. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey A. Krawczyk and a sister, Linda Martinez.

Dar was a 1955 graduate of the Harding High School. She had worked at the former American Malleable in Marion and then had worked for the former L & K Restaurants and Motels. Her last job was to take care of the records for the family farm.
She was a member of the Richwood First Methodist Church and had formerly attended the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prospect.

Dar was a kind and sweet person who enjoyed the time she had with her family and friends. Always being inquisitive, she was a life-long reader and learner. It was important for her to keep up on all things going on in the world.
She was a big sports fan, she rooted for the OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Dar also loved music; Rod Stewart was a favorite.

Surviving is her loving husband, Don P. Krawczyk, they were married June 23, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana. Also surviving is her son, Kevin (Becki Nace) Krawczyk of Powell
Grandchildren, Connor (Maddy) Krawczyk, Jud Krawczyk, Camden Krawczyk and Cody Yates
Brother, Bill (Phyllis) Keefer of Marion
And many extended family and friends

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Richwood First Methodist Church. Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate. Burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.
