Richard McGinniss

March 18, 1975-Services for Richard McGinniss, 64, of LaRue will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery.
He died early Tuesday at home after a year's illness.
Originally from Vinton County, he had been employed by Marion Power Shovel Co. as a heat treater.
Surviving are his widow, Ruby Mae (Messenger) McGinniss whom he married in 1940 at Wellston; a son, Dale of Marion; a daughter. Mrs. Floyd (Donna) Hicks of Marion; a stepson, Reuben Messenger of Massillon; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Henry (Eula) Ackerman of Marion; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Frank and Gilbert of Marion, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Sprouse of LaRue, Mrs. Emma Freeman of Marion and Mrs. Kathryn Johnson of Washington Court House.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight and Ion Thursday.
