James Michael Cox


James Michael Cox, 17, of Marysville, died Monday, May 22, 2006, from
injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A junior at Marysville High School, class of 2007, he enjoyed all
sports, including Monarch junior football, basketball, baseball and track.
He was a confirmed member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Active with his
church and Boy Scouts, he enjoyed skateboarding and hanging out with his friends.
He was very close to his loving, caring family and spent many hours with them.
His ambition was to attend school for cinematography to do documentary films.
He was born Dec. 27, 1988, in Delaware. He was predeceased by his mother
Karen Michael Cox; a brother, Christopher Cox; and grandmother Joan Cox.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, James and Brenda Cox of
Marysville; brothers Austin and Conner Cox; grandparents Larry and Bette
Michael of Richwood, Ted L. Cox of Magnetic Springs and Paul and Jeri
Shultz of Marysville; and many relatives, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 1 to 3
and 6 to 8 p.m. at Underwood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held
Friday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Barry Scott
officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.

Central Ohio at 2225 City Gate Drive, Columbus, OH 43219.
