RICHWOOD — Edwin R. Wheeler, 57, Pearl Street, died Sunday October 15, 1995 at the Greenview Hospital, Bowling Green, Ky., where had had been on vacation.
Born Aug. 14, 1938, in Richwood, he was the son of the late Gerald L. and Esther M. (Norris) Wheeler.
On Feb. 26, 1961, in Essex, he married Judy K. Dirst, and she survives.
A 1958 graduate of Richwood High School, he had worked at Whirlpool Corporation for more than 30 years.

Born Dec. 4, 1911, in Claiboume, she was the daughter of Egbert and Clara (Cassidy) Norris. On July 14, 1937, she married Gerald L. Wheeler, in Monroe, Mich. He died Feb. 19, 1991.
The homemaker was a member of Claiboume United Methodist Church and a former member of the Delaware Senior Citizens.

Clifton served our country in the United States Army. He had worked for Fruehauf Trucking in Westerville as a forklift operator. He had also previously worked at the former Galena Brick Plant.
He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, playing guitar, watching westerns and when he was younger, hunting and golfing.
