| Merle Lee Landon Merle Lee Landon, 79, of Richwood and Fort Pierce, Fla., died Sunday,
Dec. 2, 2001, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center after a one-year illness.
He was retired after 37 year as manager of Isaly's and Smith Dairy and was
an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Prospect United
Methodist Church, Richwood VFW Post 870, a 50-year member of the former

She was one of seven children. Her brothers Dick, Bill and Robert have already passed over. Surviving are her brothers, Paul Carr, Bucyrus and Ronald Carr, Prospect, along with her sister, Marilyn Smith, Caledonia.

She was born Jan. 13, 1905, in Union County, to the late Motes Leondis and Estella Mae (Smith) Mettler.
