Also surviving are two sons, Jerry L. Drake of Fort Wayne, Ind. and J. Thomas Drake, Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Helen Clapsaddle, Richwood, and Rachel Willis, Marion; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Bom May 7, 1919, in RichWOOD, he was the son of Fred and May (Johnson) Erwin.
On Feb. 24, 1946, in RichWOOD, he married the former Rachel M. Baker, and she survives.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, RichWOOD, V.F.W. Post 870, and Baccarat American Legion Post 40.
