She was born June 10, 1923, in Marion County, the daughter of the late Oscar and Martha B. (Rexroth) Hord. On Nov. 7, 1943, in Prospect, she married Stanley Beery and he survives.

Stanley Beery died early Saturday morning January 11, 2014 at the Kingston Residence in Marion.
He was born March 26, 1916 in Morrow County to the late Charles Arthur and Belva Leona (Fox) Beery, he was also predeceased by his first wife Norma (Hord) whom he married November 7, 1943 and she died December 28, 1994, two sisters: Harriet McPherson and Elizabeth Wilson and one brother: Charles Beery
