Born Aug. 27, 1919, in Jackson Township, he was the son of the late Oliver P. and Gertrude (Schaeffing) Hall.
On Aug. 3, 1947, at Union Baptist Church, West Jackson, he married the former Delia Jean Cochran, and she survives.
