Francis Gerald Johnson Francis Gerald Johnson, 85, of Richwood died Sunday, Jan. 21, 1996, at
Community Nursing Center in Marion after a serious illness of five months.
He was a retired farmer and mechanic and was a member of the Pharisbiirg
United Methodist Church and the Union County Farm Bureau.
He was born May 31,1910, in Union County to the late John F. and Lydia
Herd Johnson. He married Letha M. Ewing July 6,1930, and she died Jan. 28,

Friday, January 28, 1994 at Maplewood Nursing Center in Marion after a four-month illness.
Born Dec. 23, 1909, in Claibourne Twp., Union County, she was the daughter
of N. Vernor Ewing and Emma Edna (Fryman) Ewing. On July 6, 1930, she married

Born Aug. 8, 1920, in Gallia County, he was the son of Rufus and Callie (Johnston) Pitchford.
