She was born Dec. 19, 1935, in Kentucky to the late Ed and Georgie Madden Buckler and was predeceased by a brother and two sisters. She married John Thornburg Feb. 13, 1959, in Claibourne and he died Nov. 1, 1992.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice (Rick) Cline of Marysville; a granddaughter, Danielle (Earl) Hall of Marysville; and a sister, Joan Plot of Nebraska.
