| Richard C. Butz driving school bus for LaRue school and he remained employed with the Elgin Local Schools a combined total of 32 years. He retired in 1986, but remained active on the family farm until recent months. He enjoyed driving his John Deere Gator across the land he purchased in the early 50’s. He really enjoyed the fruits of his labor.
