He was born January 5, 1953 in Kenton to Ralph and Helen (Hall) Ridge, they survive in Richwood. Also surviving are his siblings: Thomas (Desiree) Ridge of Dublin and Janet Sue (Richard) Walker of Waldorf, Maryland, and his nieces and nephews of which he was very fond of.
